What we collect

• Book content you send through ChatGPT: title, byline, dedication, page text and the pictures you add.
• Order details you enter at checkout: name, shipping address, phone number and email, collected by Stripe and passed to us after payment. We never see your card number.
• Usage events: which tool was called, an anonymous conversation identifier from ChatGPT and a timestamp, with no book content. The same identifier is stored on an order you start.
• Technical data: our host and security systems briefly log IP addresses and request details to keep the service running and prevent abuse.

Why we use it

To lay out, print and ship your book, to email you about your order, to prevent fraud and unsafe content, and to understand whether the service works. We do not sell your data or use your book to train models.

Who receives it

Stripe (payment), Lulu (printing and shipping, receives the book files and your delivery details), Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), Resend (order email) and OpenAI (a safety check on text and pictures before printing, and ChatGPT, which sends us the content you ask it to print). Previews of a draft are served from an unlisted web address that only people with the link can open.

How long we keep it

Drafts you do not order, with their pictures, are deleted 30 days after your last change. Ordered books (text and pictures) and order records, including the delivery address, are kept for reprints, support and tax records until you ask us to delete them; we do not delete them automatically on a schedule. Payment card details are held by Stripe only.
